How to survive a journey in good health

How would you behave if you were on a train that no one was driving? An emergency situation is caused by the driver of a local train who makes an unscheduled stop between fields and gets off the train to resolve a minor technical problem. Unfortunately, the train is standing on a slight slope and it then gets away from him. A very disparate group of people, brought together for a short while by the train trip, now have one common goal – to survive this journey in good health. The comedy Emergency Situation is freely inspired by the true story of a “runaway train” that got away from its driver with passengers on board a few years ago in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. Director Jiří Havelka did not want to faithfully reconstruct the incident, but to take an entertaining dive into the world of completely normal people who find themselves in an extreme situation.
